About Us
Somepig.Lab was founded in Hong Kong, 2014, by a pair, Kathy & Brian. We majorly provide different experimental design services and products. Our style is nature, funny and cute, we believe natural is beautiful, funny is sincereness and cute is happiness, we hope we can share this emotion with you.
Kathy is responsible for all contact, art direction and publicity of work. Also, she is the main person in charge of floral arrangement and graphic design. She think herself is an artist rather than florist or designer.
Brian is responsible for the photo shooting and packaging design, and also the main person responsible for all living activities such as cooking at the base.
Why "some pig"?
Somepig.Lab take its name from a children novel, Charlotte’s Web by American author E.B White. The story is about a pig named Wilbur and his friendship with a barn spider named Charlotte. When Wilbur is in danger of being slaughtered by the farmer, Charlotte writes messages praising Wilbur in her web in order to persuade the farmer to let him live. Her first message in the web was “Some pig”
The story inspired us, even small, insignificant power, but we also rely on their own meager ability to create miracles.
